West Virginia Employer Maintenance Mechanic Further Processing (E/S) in Moorefield, West Virginia

BFOQ Must be at least 18 years old due to child labor laws. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must posses some basic mechanical knowledge, basic hand tool identification, and usage. Must have own tools. DUTIES: Under direction of supervisor performs basic maintenance functions to production and non-production related equipment. Must have ability and show willingness to learn one or more trade level skills such as plumbing, welding, electrical troubleshooting and repair, and blueprint/maintenance manual reading and identification. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be knowledgeable of production equipment and it function within the production area. Must work in other departments as necessary. Must be aware of safety rules and demonstrate an ability to work in safe manner. Willingness to accept training and ability to adopt new concepts. Must posses basic math skills. Must demonstrate good work habits. Ability to work well with others. Must be able to lift 100 pounds with assistance. Must fill in on other shift as needed. Must be able to work overtime as needed including week-ends and holidays. Strong electronic background preferred. Strong electrical/electrical schematic reading preferred.
